About Us
Quality Life Australia was established by Wendy Kennedy after completing a PhD in psychology in 2011. Wendy's research focused on factors that contribute to the life satisfaction and quality of life of Australians with chronic medical conditions.
Wendy's background includes counselling of service personnel as a uniformed officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (Admino) and Army Reserve (Admin Officer) for 20 years and as a counsellor in private practice for 7 years, before training as a psychologist and gaining experience in hospital settings, private practice clinics, and continuing care mental health organisations since 2017.
Wendy’s ongoing focus as a clinical psychologist in private practice is to relieve individual distress and assist clients to obtain and maintain a better quality of life.
