About Us
Wendy L Kennedy
Quality Life Australia was established by Wendy Kennedy after completing a PhD in psychology in 2011. Wendy's research focused on factors that contribute to the life satisfaction and quality of life of Australians with chronic medical conditions. Wendy’s ongoing focus as a registered psychologist in private practice is to relieve individual distress and assist clients to obtain and maintain a better quality of life.
Wendy's counselling background includes counselling of service personnel as a uniformed officer in the Royal Australian Air Force (Admino) and Army Reserve (Admin Officer) for 18 years and as a counsellor in private practice for 7 years, before training as a psychologist and gaining experience in hospital settings, private practice clinics, and with continuing care clients in mental health organisations. Wendy is currently undertaking a registrar program for endorsement as a clinical psychologist to build on current qualifications which include:
